The Middle Eastern Festival

The Middle Eastern Festival has come and gone and we are all left with grateful hearts for all the blessings showered upon us in this event. To quote a recent message by Father Alban:

"I am sure that you all will join me in a huge and heartfelt "terrific job" to festival chairman Nabeel Hanna for an outstanding festival. Thank you, Nabeel!

Tremendous thanks also to Mike Teeny who not only managed the silent auction and did a fantastic job with the publicity but who also worked closely with Nabeel in overseeing some aspect of nearly every department.

And thanks to everyone who gave donations of money, merchandise and (most of all) time!"

We were also very blessed to have a remarkable performance by Cappella Romana of music from their recent tour of Greece.

Now we can look forward with great anticipation to next September when we can try to outdo ourselves in celebrating our heritage and introducing our neighbors to the Orthodox faith.
